hey, i'm abby! i grew up doing lots of arts & crafts and playing computer games. i think my earliest BIG interest in art/design was through taking screenshots of my Fantage avatar and recoloring it in MS Paint. i still have some of them on my computer!as a teen, i got really into making video edits, leading me to motion graphics and graphic design. i maintained editing as a consistent hobby on social media for about 2 years-- mostly star wars.drawing wasn't something i considered a regular hobby until i was 18! by that point, i was just a writer, but i wanted to see (and let others see) what i was writing. it was a dedicated effort to sit down and really learn how to draw as an adult and there's still so much i want to improve on, but i'm grateful it stuck!i got my bachelor's in visual communication design (VCD) in 2024. i'm also on the board of directors for artbyFORM, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit community for online creatives that puts on a variety of art-related charity events. for FORM, i mostly do graphic design, event planning, copywriting, and whatever else is needed of me. i'm grateful for how my hobbies led to my career!beyond Making Things, i enjoy listening to music, going to the library, and drinking lots of soda.thanks bye :]
